Immigration info for North Okanagan-Shuswap
The North Okanagan-Shuswap is part of a new Federal Government immigration pilot to allow communities to nominate local workers for permanent residency. Only 14 communities across Canada were chosen, and we are one of them. The program helps workers stay in Canada long-term and supports local job needs. International students who graduated from 91ÖÆƬ³§ in Vernon or Salmon Arm don’t need work experience to qualify. This is great news for those students and our local community.
